Keep in mind … your Facebook news feed, isn’t designed to show you what cool things your family and friends are doing. It is a monetizing device for Facebook to generate more engagement. They want you to spend MORE TIME looking at posts, responding to rants and otherwise glancing over at their sidebar of advertisers.
So that post from the troll who is on your friend’s list will slip into your feed, not because its newsworthy but because Facebook notices that you spend a lot of time engaging when that person writes something.
Avoid the bait. Don’t engage the rage, regardless of Facebook dangling the moron carrot in your news feed.
